ION Young Blood Wake Camp 2025

June 21-22, Turin Wake Park 

12 rising stars of the Italian wakeboarding scene were selected for a weekend of absolute stoke and new trick with three Italian ION Wake ambassadors and Loic Deschaux as special guest. 

The camp featured training sessions, professional filming, riding doubles, challenges, express raffles and physical training. 

The 12 young rippers from 9 to 16 years old were divided in three teams of 4, each one with an ION ambassador as leader. 

The stoke during early morning private cable sessions and personal challenges for each rider was insane! To top it off, Loic’s eye candy riding and powerful tricks made the whole event epic. 

The Saturday night premiere of Salamat Po, Loic’s new video shot by the talented friend and filmer Robyn, was a moment for the Turin wake community for gathering with a drink and dreaming of the glassy Thai and Philis cable parks. 

Turin Cable Park is the place to be in Italy for high quality set-up, lakeside services, the friendliest and most professional team and the greatest sunset vibe.

The youngest cable beast of the bunch was chosen for the ION Progression Award: sometimes the biggest will power and talent are found in the smallest package!

Event was great and many other kids were around during the training sessions, demonstrating how the wakeboarding community is growing and younger than ever. 

The closing ceremony with prize giving and an ION Express Raffle rounded the weekend off, leaving the ground ready for the next ION Young Blood Wake Camp in Italy!
